A safe and confidential space to explore the challenges in your life.
Welcome, and thank you for visiting Mark Mahoney Therapy
My name is Mark and I am a therapist providing both short- and long-term face to face therapy to adult individuals in Bromley.
You may be suffering from anxiety, depression, the effects of trauma, addiction or be experiencing any other mental health difficulty. I am here to join you on your path to feeling better. I’ll help you move forward in a way that is right for you.
I know from my own therapy journey just how challenging it can be to make the first contact with a counsellor. This is why I offer a free 30 minute session either on Zoom or on the phone so you can meet me in the comfort of your own home, without obligation.
Your initial consultation will enable you tell me what is happening in your world and how you would like to change. It is an opportunity for us to both ask questions, and for you to decide whether we are the right fit for each other. Getting the right therapist for you is so important and if after our call, you decide I’m not right for you, then that’s fine.
I use a variety of approaches as a therapist to suit your specific needs. My philosophy is to do what works for you based on your own unique individual needs. Often this approach involves a deep dive into your past, to try and work out the patterns and coping mechanisms you have developed (often out of awareness) and to help you update them to suit you better.
If this sounds of interest and you would like to discuss how we might work together, please book a free consultation using the button on my website. Alternatively, get in touch by using the email above or below.
In my practice I create a safe and supportive space just for you. Here, you can freely share your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. I'm here to listen with care and understanding, offering a confidential and empathetic environment where you can express yourself openly.
Sharing your challenges can be a pivotal step in finding solutions. Whether grappling with relationship issues, experiencing anxiety or panic attacks, or navigating mood swings and depression, numerous individuals encounter daily difficulties that prove challenging to overcome. I am here to equip you with a toolkit to delve into the root causes of these issues, offering insights into understanding and, ultimately, managing or resolving them.
Collaboratively, we can explore the challenges you're encountering, offering valuable insights into their root cause. I aim to assist you in understanding the reasons behind your actions and reactions, bringing a deeper self-awareness. Together, we can devise strategies to guide you towards making improved and healthier choices.
